Am I A Hypocrite ?

During the time of Rasulullah SAW there were hypocrites who are also known as The Munafiqeen.

They used to claim to be Muslims but had Kufr in their hearts.

They hated Islam and the Muslims and their endeavour was to damage Islam from within.

Allah Ta'ala promises:

"Verily the Munafiqeen will be in the lowest pitch of the fire."

Rasulullah SAW said:

"The signs of a Munafiq are three - When he speak, he speak lies; When he promises, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he embezzles.' (Mishkaat)

The above sayings of Rasulullah SAW refer to people who in the outer-countenance look Muslim, but their hearts are corrupt with disbelief. The narration would InshaAllah help to make us ponder on the way we carry our lives. Let us ask ourselves...

Do we lie in our daily dealings? (There is no such thing as "white-lies")
Do we break promises?
Do we break the trusts that were allocated on to us, which we ourselves had agreed to shoulder that trust?

If any of these three salient features of Munafiqs is part of our habits, then we should put utter urgency in improving ourselves; as we do not know the state of how we will die, and what we will be our ordeals in the grave.

Never Lie. Never Break Promises. Never Destroy Trust.

A Munafiq will never enter Paradise, and will stay in the Worst of Hell.
