Solat Awwabeen

Solat Awwaabeen refers to the Nafl (optional) Solat after Maghrib Solat.

The minimum is two rakaats and maximum is twenty rakaats. Six raka'ats is also a common number.

Among the virtues of Solat Awaabeen are:

1. All sins are forgiven even if it is as much as the foams of the ocean. (Riwayat Tabrani)

2. The reward of twelve years of worship written in the person's account. (Riwayat Tirmidhi & Ibn Majah)
