The Sin Of Backbiting

It is not permissible to speak evil of any person behind his back, even if the person is a non-Muslim. However, there are exceptions to the prohibition of backbiting, for example, a person has incorrect beliefs and he is a danger to the Muslims, then one may alert the Muslims of the evils of such a person.
