Sign of Qiyamah - Giving Salam Only To Those You Know

Close to the Qiyamah, it has been narrated (mafhum) that the Salam (Muslim greeting) will only be said to those a person knows i.e. a person will not greet Salam to other Muslims he does not know.

This evidence is backed by a Hadith narrated by Haakim in Mustadrak (Volume 4: Page 524), Ibn Khuzaymah (Hadith 1326) and Bayhaqi (Hadith 3146) and has been classified as authentic by Hafiz Al-Dhahabi RA.
