In-Laws Presence

QUESTION:
Is it permissable for a husband to prevent his in-laws or any of his wife's relatives from entering his home if he believes that they will interfere in his marriage.

ANSWER:
The husband has a right to stop the wife's relatives from entering his home. That is to say, if he does so, then he will not be sinful. However, the husband should consider the negative consequences before preventing them. He should apply wisdom and diplomacy with his wife's relatives.
