Basics Of Nikah

The Nikah of two Muslims should be simple.

Rasulullah SAW said:

"The most blessed Nikah is that in which least expenses are incurred." (Mishkaat)

Like in culture today, there is no need to delay the Walimah (wedding feast) by 2-3 days or more. It is Sunnah to have the Walimah the next day after the union between the husband and wife.
